感染制御研究部門について
「感染制御研究部門」は、新設したバイオセーフティレベル3（BSL3）実験室を活用しつつ、学内の各部局や他大学、企業と連携・協力し、社会・地域から強く求められている、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）を中心とする新興・再興ウイルス感染症の予防・治療法の研究開発や、それに携わる研究者育成等を担うことを目的として、2022年4月1日に先端科学研究推進センター内に新設された部門です。
About the Division of Infection Control Research
The Division of Infection Control Research was established on April 1, 2022 within the Center for Advanced Science Research and Promotion, aiming at research and development of methods for prevention and treatment of emerging and reemerging viral infections, especially novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and training of researchers involved in such research. Since viral infections like COVID-19 are in great demand from society and local communities, we will be utilizing the newly established Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) facilities and collaborating and cooperating with other departments of our university, other universities, and companies.
