特許の各国移行に関するお知らせ

先端科学研究推進センター・感染制御研究部門と東京理科大学薬学部の青木教授との共同研究成果に基づき，本学と東京理科大学は国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）に対し，「新型コロナウイルス感染症治療薬」に関する以下の特許について各国移行の支援を申請しておりましたが，この度JSTから米国移行の支援が決定した旨の通知がありました。これに基づき，両大学は日本，米国，中国，欧州への各国移行を進めるとともに，本発明に興味を示す製薬企業との共同開発研究の可能性を探る予定です。

About patent transfer to foreign countries

Based on the results of joint research between the Division of Infection Control Research, Center for Advanced Science Research and Promotion, Kagoshima University and Professor Shin Aoki at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tokyo University of Science, both universities have applied to the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) for support in transferring the patent related to "Therapeutic Agents for SARS-CoV-2 Infection" to foreign countries. We have recently received the notification from JST that they have decided to support the transfer of the patent to the United States. In response to this decision, Kagoshima University and Tokyo University of Science will proceed with the transfer of the patent to Japan, China, and Europe in addition to the United States, and will explore the possibility of joint development research with pharmaceutical companies that are interested in this invention.
