We presented our research findings at the CROI 2026 (33rd Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections) held in Denver, Colorado, USA.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In collaboration with universities and research institutions in Japan, including the Tokyo University of Science, our laboratory presented the results of studies on therapeutics for SARS-CoV-2. Professor Mika Okamoto presented a poster titled \"Novel quinazoline derivatives targeting SARS-CoV-2 RdRp with in vitro and in vivo efficacy\" at CROI 2026, an international conference on viral infectious diseases held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, USA from February 22 to 26, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Researchers and pharmaceutical industry representatives interested in anti-SARS-CoV-2 drug development visited the poster on the day of the presentation. They listened attentively to Professor Okamoto\u2019s explanations and participated in lively Q&A sessions. It should be noted that this international conference is known for its extremely strict criteria for accepting abstracts.<\/p>\n\n\n
